unira.ac.id (Selasa, 08/07/2025) Dua mahasiswa dari Program Studi Hukum Universitas Madura kembali mengharumkan nama kampus dengan mengikuti Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kebangsaan XIII Tahun 2025. Mahasiswa tersebut adalah Ferdi Prayoga Apriyudi dan Mis Bahul Arifin yang terpilih mewakili universitas dalam program nasional ini. KKN Kebangsaan merupakan program lintas kampus yang mempertemukan mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia untuk mengabdi di daerah tertentu. Tahun ini, Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar didapuk sebagai tuan rumah pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut. Kegiatan ini menjadi wadah strategis untuk memperkuat semangat kebangsaan, toleransi, dan kepedulian sosial mahasiswa. The activity with the theme "World Heritage Cultural Tourism as a National Action: The campus has an impact and serving on the country" was officially opened on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in the Forest of Bengo-Bengo Education, Maros Regency.Partisipasi mahasiswa Universitas Madura menunjukkan kualitas dan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam kancah nasional.
The National Community Service Program XIII in 2025 is planned to last until 30 July 2025 with the theme of development based on local potential. This activity involved hundreds of students from various regions who would be deployed to fostered villages in South Sulawesi. For approximately one month, the participants will carry out various community service activities, ranging from legal counseling, economic empowerment, to educational and health activities. Ferdi and Mis Bahul have been equipped with special training before departure to maximize their contributions at the placement site. Their presence is not only an academic representation, but also as a campus ambassador that carries a humanitarian mission. Madura University welcomed this participation as part of the development of student soft skills.
According to the University of Madura, the participation of students in the National Community Service Program is a tangible form of the participation of tertiary institutions in building the nation. The Chancellor of the University of Madura expressed his appreciation for the election of Ferdi and Mis Bahul in this program. He hopes that students can become agents of change that bring scientific values ??and spirit of service in the community. The National Community Service Program is also considered an important event in broadening insight and networking between students across regional students. In addition, this program is expected to be able to increase students' social awareness of the reality faced by the community in various regions. Madura University continues to be committed to supporting student involvement in similar national programs in the future.
Ferdi Prayoga Apriyudi admitted that he was very enthusiastic in following this program and considered it a valuable experience in his life. He said that his involvement in the National Community Service Program gave him the opportunity to implement legal science directly in the community. In addition, he hopes to be able to share basic legal knowledge with rural communities, especially in terms of the rights of citizens and peaceful dispute resolution. Mis Bahul Arifin also stated that his pride could be part of a program involving students from all over Indonesia. He is committed to actively playing a role in social activities and community empowerment at the placement site. Both of them felt motivated to make a real contribution and carry the good name of the University of Madura.
During the implementation of the National Community Service Program XIII, participants will undergo intense and challenging field activities. They are expected to be able to adapt quickly to the social and geographical conditions of the service area. Each student group will be accompanied by a field supervisor and coordinate with local village officials. This program is also a direct learning tool that supports the learning achievements of the Merdeka Campus. In addition, students can develop communication skills, leadership, and teamwork while running the program. National Community Service Program is a real symbol of student service to the country that raised them.
With the end of the National Community Service Program XIII on July 30, 2025, Ferdi and Mis Bahul are expected to return to campus with experience and inspirational stories. They will share the story of their dedication with other fellow students as a form of reflection and motivation. Madura University also plans to hold a seminar to share experiences from the National Community Service Program participants as a form of appreciation as well as inspiration for other students. This program is an important part of character education and contextual learning needed in the current global era. The spirit of dedication and togetherness that is embedded as long as KKN is expected to continue to light up in every student. The involvement of Ferdi and Mis Bahul is proof that Madura University students are able to compete and contribute to the national level.
