Pamekasan – Lapas Narkotika Kelas IIA Pamekasan menerima kunjungan studi lapangan dari Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Madura pada Kamis, 25 September 2025. Rombongan terdiri dari empat dosen dan 23 mahasiswi yang dipimpin oleh Sri Indriati Hasanah, S.Si., M.Pd.
The arrival of the group was welcomed by the Head of Pamekasan Narcotics Prison, Kusnan, along with the ranks of structural echelon IV and V officials, as well as the rehabilitation team. The series of activities began with a welcoming procession in the top hall, followed by material exposure sessions, facility reviews, and dialogue with the target residents.
In his remarks, Sri Indriati Hasanah said that this activity was an implementation of the learning of the Pancasila Education course, with the aim that students could understand the application of Pancasila values ??in real life, especially in the correctional system and rehabilitation programs.
Kalapas Kusnan expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the activity. According to him, field visits will provide new insights for students about the reality of life in prisons, while strengthening their understanding of the function of coaching and rehabilitation.
Students then get an explanation of the rehabilitation program from the prison team represented by Hairul Rasyid and Sulistiyo. In addition, the group also reviewed a healthy kitchen, residential block, and Pratama Polyclinic. On this occasion, students interact directly with the target residents and medical personnel.
The activity was closed with the delivery of impressions and messages from Dr. Ema Surahmi, S.Si., M.H., M.Pd., Lecturer in the Pancasila Education Course, which emphasized the importance of enforcement of legal norms as part of ethics in community and state life.
This field study ended with a group photo session as a symbol of appreciation and cooperation between the University of Madura and Narcotics Lapas Class IIA Pamekasan.
