Pamekasan — Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Madura kembali menorehkan capaian strategis di tingkat nasional. Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) FKIP Universitas Madura secara resmi memperoleh kepercayaan untuk melaksanakan piloting PPG bagi Guru Tertentu dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 206 students in Phase I in 2026.
Capaian ini menjadi bukti kepercayaan pemerintah terhadap kesiapan kelembagaan, kualitas tata kelola akademik, serta sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki Madura University dalam menyelenggarakan Pendidikan Profesi Guru secara bermutu dan berkelanjutan. Penetapan jumlah peserta tersebut menempatkan Universitas Madura sebagai salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) yang dipercaya menyelenggarakan PPG dengan jumlah peserta signifikan pada tahun 2026.
The Dean of FKIP Madura University said that this achievement was the result of the faculty's ongoing commitment to strengthening academic quality, program governance and a consistent internal quality assurance system. The PPG program is not only seen as a means of teacher professionalization, but also as a strategic instrument for improving the quality of national education through strengthening teachers' pedagogical, professional, social and personality competencies.

The piloting of 206 PPG Phase I students in 2026 is in line with the direction of the faculty development policy contained in the strategic plan, especially in strengthening the role of FKIP as a center for developing professional teaching staff who are adaptive to the dynamics and challenges of national education.
In the future, Madura University through FKIP is committed to continuing to improve the quality of PPG implementation, expanding partnership networks, and actively contributing to producing professional teachers who are competitive, have integrity and are quality-oriented. It is hoped that this achievement will be a motivation for the entire academic community to continue to maintain public trust and the reputation of the institution at the national level.
