Healthy streets enliven the 47th Anniversary of Madura University

Madura University again held a Healthy Street (JJS) activity in order to enliven the 47th Anniversary which fell on Sunday, May 11, 2025. This activity took place lively by involving thousands of participants from various circles, ranging from academicians to the general public. This year's JJS took the start and finish in the main yard of the Madura University campus, creating an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and togetherness. This series of activities became part of the annual agenda that was always awaited by the extended family of the university and local residents. In addition to being a sporting event, this activity also aims to strengthen the relationship between campus elements and the community. The spirit of togetherness seemed thick coloring the entire course of the event.

The JJS event was officially released by the Deputy Regent of Pamekasan, H. Sukriyanto, who was present as a guest of honor in the activity. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the role of Madura University in building human resources in Pamekasan Regency. He also stressed the importance of synergy between universities and local governments in creating a healthy and competitive society. The presence of the Deputy Regent added to the lively event, as well as showing the full support of the government of positive activities initiated by higher education institutions. He hopes that the momentum of this Dies Natalis can strengthen the commitment of the University of Madura in making a real contribution to regional development. The remarks were closed with the screams of enthusiasm that were greeted enthusiastically by the participants.

 

 

Madura University Chancellor, Dr. H. Gazali, M.M., also attended and gave a warm welcome to all JJS participants. He expressed his gratitude for the long journey of the University of Madura which had tread the 47th age. According to him, this activity is not just ceremonial, but also a form of gratitude and reflection for the achievements that have been achieved. The Chancellor also invited all campus elements to keep moving forward and innovating in answering the challenges of the times. On the occasion, he also thanked the entire committee, sponsors, and participants who helped succeed the event. The presence of university leaders also added to the hedge and cohesiveness of the entire series of activities.

 

 

The route traversed in JJS this time followed several main roads around the campus that had received security from the police and committee. Participants seemed enthusiastic to follow the predetermined path while enjoying the bright morning atmosphere. Along the road, the committee provides a drinking water post and a standby medical team to ensure the health of participants. This activity was also enlivened by a variety of entertainment and attractive prize lottery that adds to the enthusiasm of participants to complete the route to the end. Some participants even came with creative costumes, creating a unique and entertaining feel. JJS also became a space for expression as well as a means of maintaining body fitness together.

 

 

In addition to a healthy walk, the Dies Natalis committee also prepared various supporting activities such as the MSME bazaar, and the entertainment stage that took place after JJS. Bazaar stands filled by students and local MSMEs offer a variety of culinary products typical of Madura. The presence of this bazaar is the main attraction as well as a promotional event for local products to participants and visitors. Meanwhile, the entertainment stage features a music performance and traditional dance that enlivens the atmosphere. All of these activities are designed to strengthen the relationship between the university and the surrounding community. The support and active participation of various parties makes this event more lively and memorable.

 

 

Healthy walk activities in the framework of the 47th Anniversary of Madura University took place successfully and passionately together. The enthusiasm of participants from the lecturers, students, to the general public reflects the high sense of belonging to the University of Madura. This activity is not only a place for celebrations, but also the momentum strengthens a joint commitment in building a better future. Madura University shows that universities can be a positive activity center that has a broad impact on the surrounding environment. Great hopes are embedded so that the university continues to develop into a superior institution that prints a quality generation.
