unira.ac.id (Senin, 23/06/2025) Mahasiswa Universitas Madura kembali menorehkan prestasi membanggakan di ajang Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) IX Jawa Timur 2025. Pada cabang olahraga taekwondo, dua mahasiswa dari Universitas Madura sukses meraih medali emas dalam beberapa kategori. Raja Dewantara Putra, mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, menyabet dua medali emas sekaligus. Ia memenangkan kategori Poomsae beregu putra dan Poomsae individual putra. Prestasi ini membuktikan dedikasi dan latihan intensif yang dijalani Raja. Keberhasilan ini juga menjadi kebanggaan tersendiri bagi fakultas dan kampusnya.
Tak kalah mengesankan, Ayu Septia Ningrum dari Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Madura juga meraih pencapaian luar biasa. Ia meraih satu medali emas untuk kategori Recognized Individual Princess dan juara tiga pada kategori Poomsae Freestyle Individual Senior Women. Atas pencapaian tersebut, Ayu dinobatkan sebagai atlet terbaik Poomsae putri dalam ajang tersebut. Keberhasilan Ayu tidak hanya menunjukkan ketangguhannya di atas matras, tetapi juga mencerminkan semangat sportivitas dan kompetisi yang tinggi. Ayu mengungkapkan bahwa kerja keras, dukungan, dan semangat menjadi kunci keberhasilannya. Pencapaian ini tentu menjadi inspirasi bagi mahasiswa lainnya untuk terus berprestasi.
