Pamekasan – Organisasi Mahasiswa (Ormawa) di lingkungan Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Madura menggelar kegiatan Compensation for Orphans and Iftar Together sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial di bulan Ramadan.

"Thank God, this activity has become a routine agenda for Ormawa FKIP every year. Through this activity we want to share happiness with orphans as well as strengthen togetherness between students and the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Moh Zayyadi as Dean of FKIP Madura University in his speech appreciated the student initiative for organizing this social activity. He emphasized that this kind of activity is important to foster social sensitivity among students.

According to him, students are not only required to excel academically, but also have concern and empathy for others.

"This activity reflects the value of social care that students must have. Sensitivity and a sense of caring for others is an important part of forming the character of prospective educators," he said.

In this activity, the committee also provided compensation directly to orphans as a form of support and social care. The event then continued with togetherness with the orphans before finally closing with breaking the fast together.

Through this activity, Madura University FKIP Ormawa hopes to continue to foster a spirit of sharing, strengthen human values, and increase students' social awareness of the surrounding community.
